Kubrick’s viciously funny satire on the nuclear arms race considers the political and military proposition of “they’ve got big bombs so we’ve got to have some”, then pokes fun at the mushroom cloud-shaped holes in this argument. Peter Sellers, here playing three characters, turns in the finest performance(s) of his career.

Theatrical trailer, filmographies, poster gallery, photo gallery, DVD trailer. Seeing this Kubrick masterpiece with a crystal-clear picture - - a transfer approved by the director himself - - only serves to renew its power. However, some of the extras here are poor: filmographies are one thing, but a screen full of lists with no biographical detail is just plain dull.
