"Hey! Ho! Let's go!" Popular mythology says The Ramones were four freaks in leather jackets who only knew three chords. Partly true, but as Michael Gramaglia and Jim Fields' blitzkrieg bop of a rock-doc brilliantly shows, The Ramones were also "conceptual art", catalysts for the mid-'70s punk revolution - dysfunctional figures bound together by a rock'n'roll brand name. Sad, especially as Joey (cancer), Johnny (ditto) and Dee Dee (heroin) have all died since filming was completed.
