Little else has changed for the characters around Andy, with Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant’s more sitcom-like follow up to The Office remaining a slow-burning examination of ball-shrinking embarrassment.

Gervais’ uniquely infectious laugh is the star of the DVD extras: the outtakes, ‘Corpsing’ featurette and the cosy 50-minute doc revolve around Ricky’s inability to refrain from cracking up. Even Sir Ian McKellen breaks in the face of his superior enemy – a fat man with a girly giggle.
