Fellini's Casanova (Special Edition)

3

We’re into late-period Fellini here, so subtlety isn’t exactly on the menu. Casanova is a sprawling, gaudily costumed period extravaganza, crammed with fantastical set-pieces and gargoylesque Italian actors hamming their little socks off. Through it all prances Donald Sutherland’s titular jaded dandy, whose conquests are more professional than erotic.

DVD Extras:

The best of the meagre extras is a 2005 interview with Sutherland.
