Ice Cube adds another raspberry to his impressive collection (Anaconda, Torque, XXX 2) in this half-hearted excuse for a comedy. Cube and the irritating Tracy Morgan star as petty crims forced to burgle their local church after unwittingly trashing a shipment of stolen wheelchairs. There are moral and spiritual lessons to be learned as the heist goes belly up, but – chuckle-inducing cameo by comic Katt Williams aside – the misfiring humour is sub-Barbershop at best. Routine extras – director’s commentary, deleted scenes – are enlivened by short but sweet gag reel/outtake treats.
