Frenemy

1

Who needs friends when you can have Frenemies.

Out of the depths of cinematic hell crawls cameo con Frenemy, its limp, lifeless frame cruelly revived by the success of Zach Galifianakis’ career.

No matter what his beardy face on the sleeve may suggest, this is nothing but a straight-to-DVD cash-in on his scant screen time here as a porn store owner.

The rest is Clerks with a lobotomy, as Stephen (Callum Blue) and his devilish friend, Mr Jack (Matthew Modine), walk from place to place (a cinema, a bar, said porn shop) talking faux-existential bollocks.

Pointless, plotless and pretentious.
