Glee: Season 1 Volume 2

4

New heights of hit-and-miss campery?

Even the most hardened Gleek, giddy for this bumper back-end of the tuneful high-school hit series, will notice that early success has driven Glee to new heights of hit-and-miss campery.

One-note themed episodes now find villainess Sue (Jane Lynch) ‘Vogue’-ing and the Glee Club searching for their inner Lady Gaga.

Yet when there’s plot instead of swish – such as Kurt’s (Chris Colfer) attempts at brotherly love with Finn (Cory Monteith) – the dramas can bring a tear to your eye as fast as a Slushy in the face.
