Any thrill derived from this digitally remastered car-crook caper original depends on how much you enjoy plotless, slap-funk soundtracked '70s films featuring 118-118-coiffured crims stealing cars for cash. And not much else. Having said that, the 40 minute, 93-car destroying chase finale is engagingly raw, if overlong, and, without it, there'd probably be no Grand Theft Auto.
