Guliver's Travels

A cheesy satire on the absurdity of man

If you’ve any affection for Jonathan Swift’s classic tale, run for the hills. The book’s satire on the absurdity of man is traded here for the cheesy
message that all Jack Black’s mailroom man Gulliver needs to do is believe in himself

And that’s before the buffoon starts cavorting around to Edwin Starr’s ‘war.’ The kid-friendly tone may excuse some of the naffness, but certainly not the phoned-in performances by a Brit supporting cast.

Exceptional performaces from villain chris O’Dowd and princess Emily Blunt.
