It’s the revenge of the turd: sweaty office dweeb Bob (Christian Slater) goes from total zero to unlikely hero after stopping a colleague on a gun rampage in this ga-ga fantasy. Despite harbouring thoughts of postal meltdown, Bob’s promoted upstairs and falls for pissed-off paraplegic secretary Vanessa (Elisha Cuthbert), who was injured in the shoot-out. What follows is creepy, surreal and bitingly misanthropic: Vanessa wants euthanasia, Bob plays with his gun collection, and a tank full of talking goldfish call him a shithead. Buckle up for a weird, if scattershot, ride.
