This Hollywood adaptation of Charlotte Bronte’s gothic romance owes a lot to Hitchcock’s 1940 film Rebecca, and is none the worse for it. Solid performances, stylish cinematography and a Bernard Herrmann score ensure it’s still a good watch after all these years, but there’s zero bonus material.
