A funky Japanese steampunk caper

Superhero steampunk action with Takeshi Kaneshiro (House Of Flying Daggers), who’s a circus acrobat scratching a living in a smartly drawn alternative-1949 Japan.

Railing against the rigid class system is master of disguise and folk hero K-20, who turns out not to be so heroic when he frames Kaneshiro, drawing him into a world of slippery aristocratic double-crossing.

It’s part comic-book caper, part detective mystery and part martial-arts kickabout, all played with humorous warmth, particularly by its excellent lead.
