Kill The Irishman

Light-hearted biog of an infamous Irish mobster

Kill The Irishman review

A comedically brisk dash through the bio of real-life Irish mobster Danny Greene (Ray Stevenson), famed (figuratively, we think) for having “the biggest nuts in Cleveland”, the second film from Jonathan Hensleigh (The Punisher) contains guilty pleasures aplenty.

It features Christopher Walken, Val Kilmer, Robert Davi and Paul Sorvino for about a millisecond each, plus all the budget car bombs, bad wigs and dodgy accents you could ask for – Vinnie Jones’ half-Lithuanian/half-Irish turn a particular highlight.

GoodFellas remade by the Zucker brothers.
