Stand By Me meets Casper in an old-fashioned ghost story draped in small-town nostalgia (bike chases, naughty dogs).
It’s a sweet, if predictable, tale of a boy’s (Lukas Haas) spectral encounter, which holds the key to a series of child murders.
Extras include more than 30 mins of deleted scenes, a grainy behind-the-scenes doc and a chat-track packed with director Frank LaLoggia’s musings on the movie that “almost killed me”.
