Patrick Wilson and Kerry Washington move into the picture-perfect suburbs only to find themselves next door to widower/cop/all-round-bastard Samuel L Jackson in Neil LaBute’s post-Wicker Man comeback.
Let down by a formulaic finale, this otherwise tense, caustic thriller is a fearless dissection of race and relationships. Cracking yak-track, meaty deleted scenes and a Making Of full of information and self-congratulation.
