Aloof Anna (Amy Adams) trots off to Ireland to propose to her beau (Adam Scott) after learning of a cheeky Oirish legend that says a woman can propose to a man on a leap year. But then she falls in love/hate with Matthew Goode’s bit of rough. Anand Tucker’s confection is trapped in the dark ages with its weathered romcom plotting and stodgy stereotyping (“Eejot, so y’are!”). Somehow, though, Adams and Goode keep things afloat with their undeniable zsa zsa zsu. Perfunctory extras.
