Tim Burton can sleep easy. This modern take on Alice In Wonderland never comes close to trumping his cinematic vision, despite allowing Paul Kaye to scoff down the scenery as a Rasta caterpillar. An occasionally punchy script aids Danny Dyer’s fast-talking White Rabbit cabbie, but overall it’s an uneasy mix.
