Cast as a side-player, breakout Brit-actor Christian McKay is the main attraction in Richard Linklater’s patchy period piece, following student Zac Efron as he blags his way into a pre- Kane Orson Welles’ (McKay) Julius Caesar theatre production.
McKay may look more like Vic Reeves, but the boldness and bluster are uncanny.
Top bonus on this Tesco-only(!) disc is a smooth edit of the film’s Caesar scenes.
