Being the adventures of one Jack Walsh (Robert De Niro), ex-cop-turned-bounty hunter, who needs to haul ex-Mob bean-counter Jonathan "The Duke" Mardukas (Charlies Grodin) across America, while avoiding the Mafia, the FBI, fellow professionals and each other. Twelve years on, wonder why De Niro doesn't do comedy this good any more.

The movie. That's it. DVD is now at the stage where distributors are finally digging underrated classics out of the vaults, and this sharp-talking fast-moving oven-fresh print is no exception. It would have been good to hear director Martin Brest explain how he pulled one of the '80s best road movies together, and the inclusion of the trailer would have shown the disc's makers care about giving fans more bangs for their bucks. Still, give thanks that a couple of old pals, and their pursuers, are back.
