My House In Umbria

Not the most inspiring title (it's in Italy, apparently) and Richard Loncraine's film isn't much better, despite Dame Maggie Smith's sterling turn as an elderly romance novelist who, having walked away unscathed from a terrorist bomb blast, benevolently gives room and board to her fellow survivors. Ronnie Barker and Chris Cooper round out a capable if hardly thrilling cast.
