National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (PG)

Ever watched your dad put up fairy lights all over the house, only to switch them on and... Bugger all happens. Then you've not even come close to living through Christmas with the Griswolds.

The third film in National Lampoon's Vacation series, it sees Clark (Chevy Chase) et al plunging from one chaotic screw-up to another. Some of 'em funny, most of 'em not. But let's not be too hard on it. After all, Christmas Vacation is no different to overcooked turkey: you know it's wrong, you know you shouldn't like it, but it wouldn't be Christmas without it.

No stocking fillers, the highlight of the commentary being Beverly D'Angelo giving an in-depth analysis of her changing hairstyle.
