Jodie Foster: Oscar winner, feminist icon and all that. No cop at comedy, mind. Half this kid-flick is lost to the star’s unfunny arm-flapping as her agoraphobic author stumbles halfway round the world to remote-islander Abigail Breslin’s rescue. The other half? Home Alone with coconuts, as Breslin fends off fat tourists amid scenes of dancing-sea-lion slapstick. Beguiles for a while, grates a lot longer. Comes with Jodie/Abi chat-track.
