Nice marketing savvy, shame about the film.
Andrew Paquin casts True Blood love-birds Anna (his sister) and Stephen Moyer in his hokey home-invasion horror, but they barely survive five minutes and the half-cooked script offers few other draws.
True, Brian Geraghty and Tricia Helfer relish playing partners who slaughter the owners of a house for sale and move in; she then collects thrill kills while he keeps Rachel Blanchard secretly imprisoned.
But the plot thins out fast and the killers – him childlike, her a saucy sadist – are written as psycho-sexual clichés.
Nice interiors, but you could watch House Doctor for those.
