P.S. I Love You

If a top night in for you involves a box of tissues (and you’re not a 15-year-old boy) this tear-tugger could hit the spot. In the dead-loved-one-romcom sub-genre, it’s not as raw and affecting as Truly Madly Deeply. Still, Hilary Swank endears as the bereaved wife acting on hubby Gerard Butler’s posthumous letters, though it’s Harry Connick Jr who steals the show as her socially inept new chum. Slight, but disarmingly sincere.
