This ’40s-set tale of chaps trying to grapple their way out of Hell’s Kitchen has Stallone all over it like a half-nelson. Not only does Sly star and direct, but he penned the novel and sings the opening theme. Our man plays hustler Cosmo who, along with bro Lenny (Armand Assante), conspires to exploit third sibling Victor’s (Lee Canalito) talent for slapping big men in Lycra pants. Hardly subtle, but the morality shift among the brothers exerts a modest grip.
