At 51, star Ving Rhames is already over a decade older than heavyweight champ Sonny Liston was when he died, so accepting him as a hungry young challenger is just one of many problems with this dry biopic. Cheesy montages, clumsy fight choreography and feeble extras land the knockout blows.
