Trailer. The third best action movie of the '80s (after The Terminator and Die Hard), John McTiernan's homage to big biceps and machine guns is pure testostertainment and long overdue a DVD release... But not this way. Crisp visuals show up every scratch and bubble of a dodgy print while key moments - most notably Arnie's "stick around" knife gag - are totally missing from an assault scene that's also had every instance of burning men snipped. And don't blame the BBFC either - - they record two versions submitted to them, and the film company have chosen to release a version missing five minutes.
