The '70s cult hit featuring plenty of parkas, mopeds and tunes from The Who. Boasting a powerful performance from Phil Daniels as Jimmy, the mod who finds himself in the middle of a face-off between two rival gangs, it's a stylishly realised Brit favourite which still makes for good viewing today.

DVD Extras:

An eight-minute montage of previously unseen on-set photography. Okay, so we're expected to pay £18 for a disc with no widescreen option and nothing but stereo sound? This is definitely a wasted opportunity, as the 114-minute running time leaves ample room for more than the (admittedly well-executed) photo- montage. The age of the movie may make finding new goodies tricky, but we're still being asked to pay a premium price here for an inessential disc, especially when you consider that the video costs more than a tenner less compared to its digital counterpart.
