Mixed reviews at the time haven't stopped Martin Scorsese's blazingly innovative life story of boxer Jake La Motta from bagging a place among film's greatest achievements. It hits harder with each passing year.

That, combined with the fact that most of the extras focus on La Motta himself rather than the film, makes for a disappointing package.
