The first of Polanski’s apartment trilogy, Repulsion doesn’t have the panache of Rosemary’s Baby or The Tenant. However, it does provide insight into the young director’s developing ideas, while Catherine Deneuve’s performance as a psychotic man-slayer has since become iconic. Excellent extras.
