Robots

3

A digi-animated pastiche of our world, where the creatures talk (with big name celebrity voices) and tackle everyday obstacles such as career difficulties and romance problems, a la humans. Yep, it’s Antz, sorry, Robots. Ah, you’ve spotted the spanner in the works. As much as Ice Age director Chris Wedge has a nicely gleaming, buffed product, Robots lacks the emotion of Pixar’s state-of-the-art output. It looks great, though, and kids will love it, but it’s just a little too mechanical to have real heart.
