The show’s finale sees Juliet lead a revolution before learning that she must make a major sacrifice, proving this isn’t the closest adaptation of the source material. An occasional naff bit of CGI clashes with the lovely hand-drawn stuff and the script teeters towards sappiness, but overall it just about hangs together.
