This well-made (though not so well-scripted) Brit drama taps into the paranoia about perverts and paedophiles. As writer/director Jan Dunn explains in the 20-minute Making Of, single men are automatically seen as the biggest threat. Bob Hoskins’ widower invites suspicion by befriending a girl who then goes missing.
