Shrek 3-D

3

Anyone who's been on the Shrek 4-D ride at Universal Studios will have already seen this 14-minute film - - in `OgreVision', practical effects placing you at the heart of the action.

Now out on DVD, you'll no longer `feel' the action but you will be in amongst it, the 3-D graphics ensuring you're jabbed in the eye by Pinocchio's penile proboscis. The story bridges the gap between first CG-ogre flick and this summer's sequel, as baddie Farquaad's ghost makes hell for honeymooners Shrek and Fiona. Shame it's so short, but all the key ingredients are present and compressed: ravishing pixel work, pop-cult nods, Eddie Murphy's tuneless wailing and big, green flatulence. Comes with a 2-D option for the faint of heart.
