""Pop quiz, hotshot. There's a bomb on the bus..."" The concept was pushed higher than ever before: the bus blows up if it travels less than 50mph. Somehow, it worked, making Speed an iconic action thrill-ride for the '90s. The pace was a guaranteed adrenalin-pumper, Dennis Hopper was suitably psycho, and Keanu and Sandra made their careers.

None. ""Maly kviz, preborniku. V autobuse je bomba"." For those among our readership who don't speak Czech, that's the famous line quoted at the start of the review. But hey! Don't worry, foreign language fans! If you speak Swedish, Danish, Finnish, or one of nine other European tongues, you can also watch in full subtitled glory! Decent extras are obviously just things that happen to other discs... Still, as a fully featured DVD, this makes a wonderful frisbee.
