Somehow, it worked, making Speed an iconic action thrill-ride for the '90s. The pace was a guaranteed adrenalin-pumper, Dennis Hopper was suitably psycho, and Keanu and Sandra made their careers.

Don't worry, foreign language fans! If you speak Swedish, Danish, Finnish, or one of nine other European tongues, you can also watch in full subtitled glory! Decent extras are obviously just things that happen to other discs... Still, as a fully featured DVD, this makes a wonderful frisbee.
