The 1970s were sordid at times, with sex ‘comedies’ featuring the rape and murder of teenage girls regarded as high entertainment. Take An Easy Ride avoided censorship by dressing itself up as a documentary, and the extras explain some of its appeal for the freaks of the day, but it’s still garbage.
