Don’t be fooled by that innocent E-certificate: mere seconds into the first episode of this series there’s a torture sequence that’ll turn your stomach. The history of the Tower of London is a bloody one, but the re-enactments are too ghoulish to appeal to young kids and the scripting too poor for adults to care.
