This reissue of Bill Forsyth’s low-budget debut – Thatcherite satire disguised as whimsical caper – reveals the missing link between Ealing and The Full Monty.

Forsyth instantly nails the Jock-ular wit that would flourish in Gregory’s Girl and Local Hero.
