Tae kwon do breakdancers; a ruckus on an aqueduct; a black-suited pagoda showdown... Ryoo Seung-wan’s (Arahan) South Korean actioner is certainly varied. Four childhood friends return home after the death of one of their number, with cop Tae-su (Jung Doo-hung) hungry to nail the killers. Evidence points to feral adolescents, but further digging fingers buddy-turned-crime boss Pil-ho (Lee Beom-su). The convoluted plot’s purely a distraction from the outrageous, face-pulping set-pieces.
