There's little new in this claustrophobic horror re-hash

Shanghaied – rather dubiously – into joining a police rescue party, amnesiac spelunker Shauna Macdonald heads back into the depths for another splatty cannibal smackdown.

Adding nothing new bar striking underwater sequences and an example of why you shouldn’t fire guns underground, original editor Jon Harris nails the style, even if the magic’s evaporated.

Deleted scenes and a commentary make up an Aladdin’s cave of extras.
