It's sexually explicit and beautifully crafted - but you may find yourself asking why Bertolucci focuses on three self-obsessed brats when a near-revolution is taking place outside their flat.

A Making Of and a featurette about '60s French politics give context, but it's the terrific commentary from Bertolucci, scripter Gilbert Adair and producer Jeremy Thomas that really impresses.
