Looking uncannily like a young Helen Hunt, Leelee Sobieski (Eyes Wide Shut) is a calm, anchoring presence in this schlocky tale of a high school teen forced to live with her dodgy godparents after folks are mashed in a mysterious car accident. Unfortunately, the film can't match her maturity.
Her new folks turn out to be harbouring skeletons in the closet and The Glass House descends into shrill, tense, suspense territory. Only without the tense bit. Or the suspense. A tiring, stupid movie.
