A documentary about ads and product placement that's been financed by ads and product placement.

Having gorged on Big Macs in Super Size Me, here ‘documentertainer’ Morgan Spurlock stuffs himself with sponsors in pursuit of a film about product placement.

But don’t expect a hard-hitting exposé. It’s intentionally a cosy affair, Spurlock whoring himself out to bemused co-promoters.

Weirdly, though, Spurlock’s fidelity to his own ‘playful/mindful’ brand values remains intact; the sheer chutzpah of the prank, and his gift for showmanship, underline just how dull Hollywood’s commercial deals have become.
