What’s this? A straight-to-DVD release that’s not half bad? If you found Munich a bit heavy-going, but still yearn to see a heroic Heeb avenge his people, then this is the Shaft-inspired comedy for you. The first ever Jewsploitation film, it stars Adam Goldberg as a PI on a mission to save Hanukkah from the evil son of Santa Claus (Andy Dick). You might expect the Jewish gags and ridiculous costumes to quickly wear thin, but the silliness proves surprisingly effective at undermining stereotypes.
