Tranceformer - A Portrait of Lars Von Trier documentary.Like Twin Peaks with a twist of social realism thrown in, this is Breaking The Waves director Lars Von Trier's most accessible work. Made as a TV miniseries, it's unsettling, bizarre and, when a doctor has a diseased liver transplanted into him, darkly humorous. The performances, especially Ernst-Hugo Järegård as Doctor Helmer, are terrific, and the documentary included here offers genuine insight into Von Trier's obsessive nature.
