Bangladeshi director Sadik Ahemd tries his hand at a Western

Hot on mood but not momentum, this is a quasi-western about the arrival of an armed stranger in a politically riven Bangladeshi town.

The pacing alienates but Sadik Ahmed’s evocative widescreen images suggest a vivid stylist who needs a tighter script.
