A film noir pastiche with Shakespearean allusions, this is a pretentious mess. Full of hard-boiled dialogue, nonsensical plotting and moody voice-over, the tale of an unnamed stranger revisiting an unidentified metropolis to take an unspecified revenge offers no attempt to make sense and even less to entertain.
