A (re)animated Tom Hanks who looks like he’s been bludgeoned to death, buried, dug up and sprayed with a sickly sheen of pureed fly pops up in this dippy, Santa-visiting fable. Nice backdrops and plenty of extras, but the dead-eyed animation style will visit night-sweats on the most Xbox-hardened kids.
