There’s no formula for cult movies, but no one told that to writer/director Tim Skousen.
His tale of a gang of uber-dorks who discover a giant sasquatch (bigfoot) poo in the local woods demonstrates flawless viewing taste: The Goonies’ sense of adventure, Napoleon Dynamite’s celebration of nerd-hood and Rashomon’s nifty narrative device.
It’s just that the script lacks a loveable character, quotable line or titter-worthy moment. Extras include deleted scenes.
