H G Wells' classic tale receives a CG update, this time from his great-grandson Simon Wells. Guy Pearce plays the time-travelling inventor who finds himself at the centre of a civil war between two evolved species of humans. With little substance to the script, you'll find yourself ogling the effects to pass the time. That and staring at your watch.
